Day 5 – Two for one

Today I am proud to present TWO completely different creations!

The first is my new e-newsletter. Cotton crochet rosette ring. It’s not as big as it looks on the hand of my 7 yr old! Awesome way to use up scraps and win the hearts of small girls everywhere!!!

My 365 Day Challenge

Day 1 of my challenge. White & silver crochet purse. I’m only using supplies I already have for this challenge & some may be previously started projects. 2 for one decluttering + creativity= ????

Painting Workshop added!

I just received notice that I have been awarded a second grant by Region 2 Arts Council to offer “The Beginning Abstract Experience” a second time!

The workshop will be Saturday, March 24th from 10-4 with a lunch break.

Utilizing a number of different techniques and mediums in a no-pressure creative environment, students will be provided an easel, canvas (24×36), palette, paints and brushes for their use and will take home their canvas at the end of the day. This workshop will take place at the Headwaters School of Music and the ARTS. This workshop is registered through and sponsored by Region2 Arts Council. To register, send a check in the amount of $40.00 made payable to the Region 2 Arts Council, at 426 Bemidji Avenue, Bemidji, MN 56601. I will also be offering a Green Man upcycled tin planter workshop through Bemidji Community  Education on April 17, from 6-9 PM.  Just in time for Earth Day! In this workshop we will use drills, rivet tools and recycling to create silly and fun plant pots!  Male, female, robot, you decide! We will design each project individually.  Materials used are gathered from local businesses. Finished projects will include liners.  Safety glasses recommended.  An additional $15.00 materials fee to instructor at class.
