Day 66 – cotton choker

by Shannon

I have another simple creation today. Light, easy and summer weight! I love the clean lines! The choker is made from cotton rope, the cross pendant is carved howlite.

Day 65 – another dream catcher?

by Shannon

How is it that the year I decide to create something every day, the need for “something special” abounds? Perhaps I am simply more observant? Everywhere I look, I find another reason to make a gift! New babies, baptism, 1st communion, new job, great report card… It helps that I am extremely fond of gifts, giving and getting!
This dream catcher is going to a baby who will be making her appearance any day. Her mom is one of my favorite people in the world! I wish them both all the best.

Day 64 – my 2012 summer handbag

by Shannon

Bandanas always make me think summer! The standard purse handles just didn’t feel right… So, in true “Dukes of Hazard” style, I made my handles out of rope. My lovely model has decided to work on her expressions… I opted for this one over “finger in the eye” or fake sobbing. 🙂
